ADA SURVEY/REPORT

The most common service that we provide for our clients is the survey/report package. A team of experienced ADA surveyors perform an on-site field evaluation. Upon this visit, all elements of the site affected by the ADA will be documented. With the collection of this data, a Report which identifies all ADA deficiencies is developed. In addition to noting all deficient elements, this report also provides recommendations on correcting the existing issues. With the experience of more than 100 surveys and reports, we have developed a team of well-informed contractors that will evaluate this report to ensure modifications and/or new construction is compliant per the latest requirements.

Plan Checking

At CASp Pro…Certified Access Specialists, not only do we assist clients with their existing site evaluations, we can also assist new projects. The best time to become ADA compliant is from the beginning (before start of construction). Complying with ADA requirements will save you both time and money in the future. Although many cities have obtained CASp personnel to review plans, minor deficiencies often go unnoticed. Such deficiencies may lead to legal exposure issues upon the completion of construction. For this reason, it is best to have plans reviewed prior to submittals.

CEU Seminars

If you are a licensed Architect or CASp certified, you are familiar with continuing education requirements. At CASp Pro…Certified Access Specialists, we provide seminars to assist with such requirements. Attending these seminars will provide you with further knowledge of the in-n-outs of the ADA as well as the Construction Related components of the California Building Code. In addition, these interactive seminars offer a great opportunity for providing you the credits necessary to complete the annual continuing education requirments (CEU’s). Not only are these seminars valuable for CASp personnel, they are also beneficial to those in a field which involves ADA knowledge. Some examples are: construction, paving and grading, plan checker, landlord and a variety of other professions and businesses.
